5.2.3 Transmitter Adjustment Procedure

CONTROL PROCEDURE

1 Initial Setting Turn the volume on APC RV1,

RV2 fully counterclockwise

(CCW).

2 Confirming the

voltage

TP4

Disconnect RF cable P101 from

connector J201.

Turn on the power.

Turn on the PTT (ground J701-

2).

Confirm voltage of TR6

collector is 9V at TP4 and that

the relay K1 clicks at this time.

3 Setting APC

off power

RV1

RV2

Connect RF cable P101 to J201.

Turn the volume RV1 on APC

fully clockwise (CW).

Next, turn the volume RV2

slowly CW and set an output of

48W ±2W at the center

frequency of each band.

4Confirming

minimum

power

RV1 Turn the volume RV1 on APC

fully CCW and confirm

minimum power of 20W or less.

5Confirming

APC on power

RV1 Turn volume RV1 on APC

slowly CW and set an output of

44W ±2W at the highest

frequency of each band. 40W or

more for other Frequencies.
